About us...
Pretty Personal Gifts is a small family owned monogram shop specializing in personalized gifts, embroidery, jewelry, monograms and more. We've been in business for over 20 years. Our studio is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia where we make many of the gifts we sell. Our products have been featured in publications such as Better Homes & Gardens, kids rooms, Martha Stewart Kids and more. All of our products can be found here on our website and a few are featured in our Etsy shop.

How we started...
It all started when my parents named me. Janine was rarely heard of at the time. Not really a problem until I got a little older and realized I would never find a license plate for my bike that said "JANINE" no matter how many stores we went to. No stickers or pencils with my name could be found. The best that anyone could come up with was "JAN". My mom would quickly whip out her sharpie and add "INE" on the end, hoping I wouldn't notice but I always noticed! 

My relatives were very creative. Armed with her trusty marker, my Mom would personalize just about anything that my name would fit on. My Aunt Sue would embroider my name by hand on my shirt whenever I came to visit. My Grandmother & Godmother always came through with monogrammed and engraved gifts. These were some of my favorite things growing up, all very thoughtful, and yes, all pretty personal gifts. 

Thanks to technology personalized stickers are readily available right on your home computer but if you're looking for a personalized gift that's a little more exciting, we can help you out. It doesn't matter if the name your looking for is popular or unheard of, we can handle it. If you are anything like me you LOVE to give the ooh aah gift. That gift that everyone oohs & aahs over when it's opened.
